This weekend we had our annual Youth leadership Conference in Slovakia.  This conference is the biggest in the area and has been happening for 19 years.  This year we had 746 youth leaders from Slovakia attend, this is a lot for a country of 5 million.  This was my first conference despite the fact that I have been coming to Slovakia for four years.  It was really a blessing for me to experience this conference.  The theme was Hop on and used a picture of someone jumping on to your bicycle while you ride.  There was teaching on personal growth, discipleship, and youth ministry.

One of my favorite parts was being able to see old friends here that I have not seen for a while. It was also a great opportunity for me to improve in my Slovak.  Since the whole conference was in Slovak, I had hours of slovak practice, but it was also tiring for me.  Please pray for the Youth Leaders that were at the conference, that they will apply what they learned in their daily lives!
