After the training my father and I went to the Alps for a fun little trip. We went to Bad Ausse Austria, which was where I went last year. This place is so beautiful and really shows God’s glory! Both my father and I felt that it was worship just to be there in the presence of so much beauty created by God. We were also able to take a lift up to the top of the mountain and hike around up there. It is such a blessing to be able to hike again with my father. It is really a tradition between us. We had been hiking together since I was 5 years old. The last couple of years this had not happened in part to my dad’s problem balancing, but now we are able to hike. God is so amazing and surprises us in some of the most unusual ways. This was a weekend that I will remember for all of my life I think! After the mountains we took a train to Salzburg, where the Sound of Music was filmed. We spent a couple hours in Salzburg, which is a very beautiful city and worth going to if you ever have the chance.
