Friday night I returned to Fort Wayne and saw my home in the states and my parents! The next day my parents left for a conference, but I was not alone. I spent the whole day with my friends. It was so fun to be together with my friends some, that I have not seen for a while. We spent time doing a lot of our old activities together like going to the shooting range and playing board games. We also went to Granite City which had become a tradition for us before I left. It was such a fun time to catch up and live some old times again together!

On Sunday I went to the Ridge in the morning and shared up front. After that I was able to go to visit my Grandfather. We had made it a regular routine for me to go out and visit him before I moved here. I have missed the opportunities to see my grandfather on a routine basis and I know he has surely missed the time together. We did not do much but just sat together and enjoyed one another’s company. I am so thankful for the relationship I have with my grandfather and that even on a limited basis I can spend time with him and learn from him!
