This week in Fusion I gave my first talk completely in Slovak!  It was really hard to do since Slovak is one of the hardest languages in the world and I wanted to speak correctly.  I spent many hours preparing including writing the talk in Slovak.  My teacher felt that it was important that I not translate my talk but write it originally in Slovak.  It was hard and my teacher helped me come up with words which were not in my vocabulary.  After I had written it and had it corrected, because it was obviously written with bad grammer.  I memorized it so that I would not be reading it from a paper but speaking it.  I am quite proud to say I did it and only looked at my paper a couple of times.  The students seemed to connect with it too! Praise God for this movement forward in my Language.  I feel more confident now to speak in Slovak  in the future.  I have never been good at languages and in fact Spanish and English were my worst subjects.  Please pray that God will continue to give me Grace and a great capacity to continue to learn and perfect my Slovak language!
