This weekend I was able to spend time with Mike Sullivan for the last time before he moves to the states. Mike has been serving with JV for 10 years in Slovakia and has had an amazing impact on the youth of the country. There is not a place you can go in the church community in Slovakia that people would not know of Mike. He was also the first person I met over here and one of my main connections to the country of Slovakia before I moved here. I am truly going to miss him! This last Friday we went to the Tatra mountains, to our favorite place there. We had massages and just spent time talking about life and enjoying some last moments together. It began storming there, so we were not able to go hiking, but it was still really a great time. On Saturday, we had a going away party for Mike which was filled with tears and great stories. We will truly miss him! Please pray for him as he moves back to the States and figures out what he will be doing next. He recently lost his father this last winter and says that this will also be something that will be hard to deal with as he will be home closer to it.
