Well, many of you know about my best friend and former roommate in Slovakia Rasto.   I have known him for a long time and we have been very close.  Over the last couple of months we have not seen each other for one reason or another, so I decided that it needed to change.  This weekend I had some days off of work because of All Saints Day (Slovak Halloween).  I went to Levice to visit Rasto and his family.  This was such a blessed time to be with my dear friend and to share life together again.  While I was there, we planned Rasto’s trip to the U.S. in January.  He will be coming to visit me in the U.S.  while I am on Furlough.  We are both very excited.  He has never been to the states and I am excited to show him my world there.

During the visit we were able to go hiking with his youth group.  Although the weather was quite bad, it was really a fun time and also an opportunity to meet some young people I have not seen in quite a long time.   I was also able to see Rasto’s Father’s firm, where he works, for the first time.  It was great to see where he spends a lot of his time, since finishing school.   Please pray for Rasto as he helps lead the youth group in Levice and as he disciples young men!
