This Summer I had the opportunity with some of my friends, to go on a canoeing trip down the river near Banska Bystrica.  This was a great time to spend with my friends and to get to know them better.  The two guys in my canoe were doing it for the first time. It was quite a challenge at some points.  I have never taught people to canoe before. They did fine, but missed directions in a few key spots.  One of the times we were going down some rapids and did not manage to avoid a rock.  We tipped over.  It was actually quite funny, because the guys did not know what you do.  I grabbed one of the girls canoes to help steady myself and our canoe so that I could gather our stuff that fell out. The girls began yelling at me that I was trying to tip over there canoe.   I am thankful for these friends that bring fun and excitement to my life.
