This weekend I took three guys with me out East to help with their Fusion. They needed help with their band, as they are still new and do not have many good Student musicians.  During the train ride I made us sit in the train car without Wifi so that we were forced to talk the whole time and not be on our devices.  It was amazing.  I love being able to pull young people away from their phones for a while and experience real life.  I myself feel I am on technology too much.  The guys did a great job playing in the band and mixed and cared for the students there well. I am grateful to see these young guys growing into leaders.

During the weekend I was able to spend two days visiting my dear friends Hudson and Kari, who moved over here in September.  I always come away from the times with them encouraged and excited for what God is doing through their lives.  What a blessing to have another young family over here!  In the evening we went to see a Hockey match. I enjoy watching Hockey, but do not do it so often.  While we were there I met a friend who I have not seen in quite a while. It was great to catch up with him.
