This weekend, my good friend, Josh Nelson, married his bride Zuzi, a Czech girl. This is my third good friend to get married this year and the third wedding, in which, I was the best man! I feel so honored to be apart of their lives! This was a beautiful wedding and another great opportunity for their friends, who don’t know the Lord, to hear the gospel. I am thankful for them and the impact they have had on my life. I am so excited, as well, to see the impact they will have on Czech Republic as a couple.

On Friday, before the wedding, we celebrated Josh by having a Bachelor party. One thing I have really grown to love this year, is the opportunity to celebrate a good friend with a Bachelor party. So often Bachelor parties are more associated with giving the groom the opportunity to do everything he won’t be able to do when he is married, mostly immoral things. Thank God, that as believers, we can really make it about celebrating the Lord’s work in his life. I think we probably had more fun then most Bachelor parties, as well. We spent the morning in a hipster barbershop, went to a cool cafe, played laser tag, then the group got bigger and we went for a great meal. We ended the evening with a bonfire and the gift of words. We each shared stories about, or things we respected and appreciated about Josh. We ended the evening praying over him. What a precious time it was! Please pray for Josh and Zuzi as they adjust to being married.
