Many of you know, I have been working for months now on getting my permanent residence in Slovakia.  This week I received a call to come and pick up my card!  I have been accepted!  I now am a resident of Slovakia, meaning I do not need to apply every other year for a temporary visa. Don’t worry, I am still a US citizen.  This is also great for another reason.  I am wanting to buy my own home here, to feel more rooted and to invest in something more permanent with the resources God has given me. I feel this is a good step and puts the money I pay every month toward something other then just rent.  With the permanent residence, the bank will now be willing to give me a loan to purchase a place of my own.  God is so good and always knows exactly what we need, when we need it!  Please pray for me as I apply for a loan and finish the process of purchasing the place that I have reserved.
