This month has been a great month for the Mighty Men group.  We sent off one of our members for 3 months in Israel with his family.  It was a great time to encourage and pray for him.  During the month we spent time on Tuesday mornings in prayer at 6:30 am.  We had a fun board game all-nighter filled with fellowship.  We also did our first outreach group inviting in friends who are not believers, to a day of fun, relationship building, and sharing Christ. Our hope is that the guys we are inviting will start to follow the Lord and that each of the guys in the group can in turn begin to disciple these friends of theirs. 

Our invitation was to a Sloppy Joe dinner (which they have never had) and to go see the new Star Wars film.  It is amazing how Star Wars and free food is such an attraction for young men.  During the day 9 friends participated with our group,  together there was 15 of us.  During the meal and time before the movie, we talked about what it means to be a real man pointing them toward Biblical principles.  We hope that this will continue  into the future and provide more opportunities for the young men in our group to disciple and lead these new guys toward Christ!
