So those of you who follow my blog know that I love discipling young men.  You also know what this means for me.  It is about life together.  This week, I had a great opportunity to do this with some of the JV Kids.  Their parents went on a trip to Israel and they needed someone to stay with their boys.  Of course I jumped on the opportunity!  I brought them all together in Bratislava for a couple of days. Before going, I prayed that God would work through the time and make it not just a time of fun, but also growth, He Did!  

I am finding more and more often, in my life, that God really wants me to learn to put my plans aside and trust Him to lead.  I went into this time with no plan.  Through the week, we had fun, we cooked and cleaned together, we went shopping for groceries, we wondered around town, but we were also challenged in our faiths.  At multiple times the guys brought up spiritual life growth conversations.  One of the guys even confessed something huge in his life, which led us to a spontaneous prayer time together.  I love that I do not need to lead these guys into these things as much anymore, that I just get to be a part of it and speak into their lives. What a blessing!  Please keep praying for these young men as they become leaders in their schools, communities, and churches!
