Som Odvážne A Poslušný. That was the name of this year’s KPM, youth leaders conference, #SOAP. It means, “I am Courageous and Obedient.” It was all about how we must obey God in the way we live and that it is a life of courage. We had something a little different this year, in that, we had speakers from other countries. We had an Indian man, who is planting churches all around India. We had a missionary to South America, a older couple who teach theology at the seminary, and we had a young youth leader turned church planter from Slovakia. They shared stories of courageous obedience and inspired the youth leaders to live with the same courage and obedience.
This year I continued my job of coordinating the sound. As well, I had my team of brave young men helping. I love being able to have this same group of guys every year and the camaraderie we share and the love for Christ as we serve. Every year I look forward to it. I also had the opportunity to teach very shortly in one of the seminars. I prepared it in Slovak and actually shared again in Slovak. It is becoming more and more natural to speak in Slovak in front of people. I hope and pray that God will continue to grow my ability to speak in Slovak in front of people.
