I love Hiking, I love camping, and I love the Rumbold guys, what could be a better combination?  Ed, his intern Jon, his three boys, and I went on a camping and hiking trip this last week.  We spent the evenings as men around the campfire cooking meals, talking, and laughing. We spent the days hiking, summiting two peaks, and hiking to beautiful waterfalls.  We talked about God, being men, life, and many other things.  We were dirty and and wild and we loved it.  There is something about being in the wild and being a man.  It brings us together, it bonds us, and it encourages us.  God is good in this way. He loves to connect us with each other, with His creation, and with Him.  I hope to be able to do many more of these kind of trips in the future and with many more young guys.
