You all know I love the JV Kids and the Kid’s camp is probably my favorite week of the year, every year! This Kid’s camp was a lot of fun, but very big! We have been adding so many new youngsters as they turn 8 years old. The camp is growing and changing dynamics with many new faces. One of my focuses this year was working with the older kids on how they cared for and built into the younger ones. It was great to lead them, ask them questions, and encourage them. The oldest kids, my guys and the girls group, were in charge of the worship each night. They were nervous about it at first, but after having a conversation about strengths, they were able to help each other be the best they could be. It was fun to see them realize that their strengths could cover other members weaknesses and likewise the strengths of others cover their weaknesses and that Christ covers it all.
One of the hard points of the camp was saying goodbye to Gavin one of my two guys, as he is graduating this year and going back to the U.S. for college. The three of us have been together for many years now and have been through a lot. I knew the day was coming that he would leave and then Jayce as well, but it was hard to grasp that it was this year. I feel like I am sending my own boy off to college. I am thankful for this time with the guys and also that we still do have some time with Gavin before he leaves.

A busy and fruitful summer!! So happy and thankful to see all the ways God is using you!!
Love, Mom
