In the beginning of January we said “see you later” to our family in Georgia. It was very difficult to leave them and especially for Alica who has lived with them for almost 7 years. The Bartons are an amazing family who has taken care of Alica all these years and we love them a lot. We look forward to seeing them again and seeing the growth in our relationship now long distance. We titled this month’s update Home Is Where Your Heart Is because we have families in Georgia, Indiana and in Slovakia and we love all three of them dearly. It is not easy to not be able to be with all of them but we are so blessed to have families who love and care for us and make it difficult to say goodbye to becasue of that.
