This month has been interesting for our youth group as it marks the first time in months that we could meet in person. This happened for one week and then the number of Covid cases rose again and the government locked down again. This one time meeting in person seemed to be so life giving for the students and for us. We finished the year with an online Christmas party.

During the time meeting in person, we saw in the faces of the students and had many conversations about how much it meant for them to be together. It is interesting that this “online generation” as a result of Covid has developed a big longing for personal connection with each other! Relationships have become more important and people are willing to commit more to be in person. We pray for lasting change in this area, that changes a generation from observers to active participants in the work of Christ!
