At the beginning of this year, we were very confident that Covid would not prevent us from having Camps this summer. As we were getting closer to the summer season we were getting less and less confident due to the increased number of Covid cases and not many people getting vaccinated. It was a couple of weeks before the end of the school year we finally heard the most wonderful news from the Slovak government that summer camps are going to be able to happen. The next task/challenge for us was to figure out how to get our American teams over here to serve at our camps. We spent many hours googling and praying for a miracle and the Lord came through (as He always does ;)) and the European Union opened up its borders to American travelers. Although many US teams decided not to come we ended up having 3 full American teams and one single brave lady who came to serve on her own. We had 10 camps this summer and the two of us were a part of 2 of them teaching English and encouraging the Slovak leaders. It was a blessed time and God was moving in big ways. It was an encouragement to all to see that nothing can stop God and His work in Slovakia. Would you pray for a continual harvest and that the students that decided to give their lives to Christ this summer would be able to grow more and be connected to a local church?
