Right after we arrived from our vacation in the US we got to go to our first JV Kids Camp as a married couple. Josh had a group of JVKs in the past but this was the first time both us were leading a group of 9 year olds. JVKs are missionary kids and we love that our organization cares so much about them. It was a week full of games, Bible teaching, stories, scripture memorization and memory-making. We as a group are called Valorians because we strive to be men and women of valor. Valor means courage and our hope and prayer for this group is that they are courageous for the gospel and that they know who they are in Christ. We are so thankful that we were able to spend a whole week together finally as a group and we are looking forward to Spring Conference and other events where we will be able to see each other again. We know God has some amazing plans for each of these kids. Fun fact: all but two of our kids come from a mixed couple marriages (meaning each parent is from a different country) and it is really fun to see how God orchestrated all of it with us being a mixed couple as well.
