This year Josh went by himself to meet our church partners and recruit teams and interns for the summer. Alica is too pregnant to travel, and the U.S. was still not allowing Slovak nationals to enter. The trip was a 12 day whirlwind of meetings but was much needed. Josh met many of our (TCKompas) partners and spent a good time encouraging them and strategizing about the future and partnership. Several young people are interested in coming and interning as a result of the time as well.

Finally, it was also beautiful for Josh to have the brief chance to see our family as well. He spent time with our little nephew and his family along with the Bartons in Georgia. We are thankful for our family and love every opportunity we get to see them.
