After meeting once with our students for the first members training, we went into lockdown the next week and have been online. Although it is not ideal, we are used to it since it was this way all last year. The students are very interested in growing and learning more about God and our faith. It is so exciting even though we are so restricted to see around 15 students dedicated to growing and spending their time with God’s people in community, even online.
The rules for small groups have been a little looser than last year so that we can meet in smaller groups. Josh’s Pathfinders have been doing climbing adventures and learning to block diagram New Testament passages using Greek language tools. Yes, you read right, adrenaline-filled climbing teenage guys doing in-depth greek studies of the Bible and loving it.
Alica’s young ladies have been talking for hours in small group and cannot get enough time together. They have a passion for growing and serving, and Alica enjoys pouring into their lives and pointing them to God’s Word and Christ in every area of life.
