As we begin our transition to the States, we are thankful for our church in Banská Bystrica. Being a part of this church for 12 years is a blessing! God is doing amazing things in our church, and we see how he is expanding what it means to be a church and focusing us on spiritual growth and a focus on being light and salt in this world. In the picture above, the band up front consists of Slovaks, Serbians, and a Ukrainian. We also have Americans and Czechs in our church. We are becoming more and more of a church for many different types of people. Our youth is moving forward under the leadership of Adka, the Lizaks, and the Pattersons. It is so fun to see what God is doing through other leaders, and we are thankful that we are leaving the youth in a healthy place with new leaders and not to fall apart without us. We recently had a young woman come to our church who said she loved our church so much after visiting others because we focus on Christ, not politics and other things she had experienced in other churches in our area. May Christ always be the focus of our churches!
